One of the challenges in landscape photography is keeping it simple, we see so much that we want to get it all in, when sometimes the shot is in the details.

Like this tree, it caught my eye as I was driving back to town.  The way that it is growing on the hill and the way that the light falls around the tree.  The horse in the foreground was an added bonus.
