My blog goes quiet for a while at this time of the year as I prepare for the NZIPP Professional Photography Awards.  I stop posting as I am trying to keep new work away from the public eye in case I want to enter them in the awards.

I have just returned from the 2014 awards in Rotorua, New Zealand and pleased to say that these were very successful for me. I gained one gold, one silver distinction, one silver and a bronze in the Commercial category.  One silver distinction and two bronze awards in the Portrait Creative category and one silver award in the wedding classic category.

To finish things off I was announced as a finalist for Commercial Photographer of the year, the winner being announced at the awards dinner tomorrow night.
